I AM QUITE DISAPPOINTED IN MY PURCHASE SO FAR. THE IMPORTANT PART OF THE RIFFLE FOR ME IS THE ACCURACY. THE RIFFLE IS EITHER VERY PELLET FUSSY OR THE HIGHER VELOCITY CHARACTER OF THE RIFFLE IS HAVING AN EFFECT ON THE PELLETS. I HAVE THE STANDARD AIR TUBE ON MY TK WHICH IS 220MM LONG AND THE STATED 28 SHOTS POSSIBLE IS NOT CORRECT. I FIND THAT THE AMOUNT OF VERY TIGHT SHOTS IN A GROUP IS ABOUT FIVE AND I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY ADJUST USING MIL DOTS TO COMPENSATE. I WILL HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY... (read more)

Bought HW90 full power 26 bar in .22, picked up a 400psi/40bar raleigh bicycle shock pump and the theoben valve connector to vary the gas shock pressures. At the full 26 bar it was very loud and inaccurate from the box, cocking effort left my arm feeling like id a blood pressure band on. Bit of barrel droop prevented me getting the scope onto point of aim with a dampamount, ran out of elevation adjustment. I bought a sportsmatch windage/elevation adjustable mount and problem sorted, so far no... (read more)

I brought mine second hand it had been used for hunting and was a little tatty on the stock but in perfect service. It's putting out 11.5 lbs/ft with wasps. Came with a great scope and bag. First day I had it I was putting very close groupings in at between 20 to 30 yards not far I know but good for a back garden. The HW90 is great like all the HWs there is one for everyone and after having a BSA comet (2007) I tried a friends HW80K and instantly fell for the great trigger, build quality and... (read more)

I owe several air rifles but this WEIHRAUCH HW90 is my beloved one.It is
powerful and with relatively heavy pellets is in my opinion the perfect
hunting gun.In 18 ft/lb,it can easily nail any small game and once I made
a perfect kill of a fox.It was a brain shot and the distance was 43 yards
(counted)But also it is a very beautiful gun and extremely accurate.I have
it in my possesion for 16 years and I faced no problem at all.In all aspects
perfect. (read more)

yes it is abit on the weighty side but overall it is easily the best break barell rifle i have ever owned, it can loose power through the ram geting old or a valve leaking slightly but it outperforms any springer, only rifle that i think can beat this rifle on performance would be a hw100 but gas ram is the way foward (no chargeing)recomend the carbine version tho if not fac variant. sneaky hint buy .22 then fit new .177 ram puts power up, or the screw just below the sight turn it and it can... The Weihrauch HW90 a great gun all in all, the only small floor is in the cocking- find it stiff and I have to give it a light tap to break the barrel. This is the only gas ram air gun I own and after using it for about 2 years now I think ill get another! It a good weight and it also sholders well. It is very accurate and has good stopping power. A great stylish gun for small prey. If you want a nice silent backyard gun then this is for you. (read more)

Don't recharge the gas ram with anything except air. Use pure Oxygen and you will die. Don't use pellets over 18grains. Light pellets also not good as they become unstable. Barracuda (kodiaks) 21 grains pellets are probably too heavy as its the piston seal that will be punished time and time again. BKL260 1 pce mounts seem to be a good mount. You can get droop types in this mount . Scopes need to be good quality otherwise its hit and miss. You never see Leupold 3x9-33 EFR (58710) in any bad... (read more)

I wanted a 25 caliber airgun to complete a set of guns ranging from .177 through .22 and including the .25. Very nice weapon.
I live in Denmark where the pressure is not restricted. That gives you full power for hunting.
I have had a little trouble because I bought a cal. 4.5 and that is too small. I'm changing it to 5.5.
Needs good bullets.
If anybody has experience with changing the pressure I would like to hear about it.
My brand new scope was spoiled in less than 5 shots.
Now I know better. A very resistant scope and a dapa mount is needed. But at that point you can't get anything better. (read more)

I have had my Weihrauch HW90 for two years now. If I had bought anything else I know I would not be as happy. The gun has a great finish and can be used for every type of shooting there is. One thing witch I luckily don't have a problem with is that if you are on the weak side, by the time you've walked across a field, you will pass out because of its weight. When I got my Weihrauch HW90I, was looking to buy a cheap air rifle cause I have been dying to get back into it for years I was considering the SMK xs79 but learnt there wasn't enough power for live quarry. Here in Denmark where we do not have any restictions on airguns, so it comes full power. and power it has... 22 ft/lbs is almost too much for my needs. I don't really hunt, just a rat now and then, mostly target shooting, and that it does with grace. The 6 interchangeable sights that comes with it, makes it easy to find the one that suites one best! The Weihrauch HW90 is a great hunting gun, its power is amazing and combined with the great accuracy of this gun it is a real killer in the feild. I bought this rifle in place of my Hw 35 it's better all round as it doesn't jolt too bad, for the power i would get this instead of a Patriot (which my Mate owns) because it's more accurate and the power is just as good as a patriot due to the theoben gas ram system. The only flaw with my Weihrauch HW90 was the varnish, so i stripped it, and oiled the wood. This gives it a natural look and it feels a lot more pleasant.
I also transformed my hw90 into a hw90K. A risky busisness but worth every drop of sweat (fear that is) Grouping: standing :1 inch at 30 yards
sitting :1/2 inch at 30 yards.Power : at this time it shoots 14.6 grns.H&N FTS at 800 fps. witch translates in app. 22 ft/lbs.

The Weihrauch HW90 is the best performer yet from the Weihrauch stable. The ideal hunting weapon in all respects, the gas ram is a boon for hunters since it allows the weapon to be cocked for long periods of time between shots. The safety is also very positive and the single stage trigger is smooth. I find that the gun is terribly inaccurate with lighter pellets at longer ranges, probably due to the high velocity.
