i am using exactly the same combination (A-616 and TLX6) and I would not want to change it... for stereo music I haven't found anything else that can match it.

Pioneer A616 have very accurate sound reproduction, robust built, audiophile grade components.Although the input selector gives problem due to dust built up in side of it. no remote. if u have speakers like bose 601 mk4, even then u will be astonished with its performance. its a true music lover amps. if u have some good speakers like PSB, Mission, phase technology, u will be blown away. magnificent amp for pure music lover....
