Bad Points: 1. A car-burglars dream, easy to steal (therefore i bought a separate steering lock)2. Battery went flat once (nothing to do with the car) just old and needed a replacement.3. A bit simple design.4. Acceleration and speed is not the best... but hey come on, you can not have it all for this price.

General comments: Bought this second hand, used it every day of the week all over the place. It never let me down at any time in any place..... cheap, simple, reliable and cheerful I just LOVED owning this Mazda 121.The brand is good... a Mazda does not break down all the time, so overall good reliability.Don't use a lot of petrol when going from A to B.
I noticed that since I moved to the UK I have only seen this on the road once. Thus i suspect spare parts must be very expensive if ever needed in the UK.If you live outside UK I guess this is not a problem though.

I bought this Mazda 121 with only 1300kms on the dial and it wasn't even run in. By the time I had done 10,000kms it was running better than ever. I put on new brakes (14 inch discs all round) and a set of alloy wheels (17x7).

With a car full of people there is a strong decline in power; that comes with every small car.

Suspension is good and firm even with five full grown men in the car. Body-roll is very rare.

Fuel economy is excellent. When driven properly it only uses about 7ltrs/1 ...
