Changed to Kwik fit for a better price than my then insurers renewal price. After first year they bumped up my policy by £100, no reason given. Then I moved! Two weeks later I was phoned and told my premium went up by £400!!! and that I had to accept this quote or pay £107 to cancel my policy. They gave me 2 hours to decide. Needles to say I went onto internet and found better price immediately. Spent over 3 hours being passed frfom pillar to post with one department saying one thing and another department saying another. Very very disappointed.

Took insurancer out with Kwik Fit in December of Last year, cancelled policy end of March due to being deployed to Afghan for six months, while I was away I received a letter saying that I stilled owed an outstanding balance and if not paid within 7 days they would take it from my card details that they held. My mother phoned to explain that I was in Afghan so could'nt conatct them but if they told her what it was and how much she would settle it, they would'nt discuss this with my mother even ...

I took out the insurance as it was the cheapest. I added my husband tot he policy etc & then removed him when he got his own car. They failed to mention that when i added my husband they changed the underwriter which meant i lost 4 months of my no claims I had built up with them !! My payments are now £71 for 3rd party F&T !!!everywhere else quotes £37 a month ! Phoned to query why there was such a difference and got told tough !!! RUBBISH NEVER USE THEM !!!!!

What a horrendous company, I am currently going through a claim where I was hit from behind and not at fault. Kwik fit and HSBC who they are underwritten by are useless. I have spent hours on the phone being passed around from company to company with no-one knowing the answers to my questions or even who to ask! I have been in tears numerous times on the phone to them as this has been a really stressful experience. It has been going through for 7 weeks now and I have had enough! My advice is to ...

I seached the market for insurance through confused.com and kwikfit was the cheapest, so I chose the quote and got transferred over to the kwikfit website where I proceeded to the payment section and entered the debit card details for the deposit from my fathers account and my bank details for the DD payments. The window thanked me for my payment in bold letter so I closed the window and thought 'job done'. Weeks later we call to chase up the insurance documentation and are told we are not cover ...

On my second year of driving I switched from Churchill to Kwik fit due to being offered a great price.
I went from 3rd party to fully comp.
In December 2007 I bumped into a car in terrible weather. I stopped and gave my details, accepting the blame.
I tried to call my insurers, then was given another number then was told to call back in the morning (Monday) to finish it. I called back, was given another number to ring and then when I finally got through they had no record of my claim so I had to ...

When calling Kwik Fit it is really difficult to speak to someone. Very often was asked to call back again when they are less busy. Occasionally was put in their call back service.Very slow response from the insurance company regarding them contacting me concerning the loss of my vehicle. Accident repair centre e-mailed their report on the Monday, three days later they still have not been in contact with me.Will not be using Kwik Fit to insure my next car.

I was quite happy with my quote from Kwik Fit Car Insurance, but during the year I moved house and forgot to tell them, so when my insurance came up for renewal they must have taken the fact that nothing was returned from my old address as a sign that I wanted them to go ahead and insure me again.
I now have a debt recovery agency ringing me asking for cash, for a policy I have never seen and didn't want...

My son was insured with kwik fit because it was cheaper than his previous insurer , he got a free MOT but they said it would cost him about £500 to get it through , he decided to go somewhere else for another test and guess what - it passed.

They increased my premium without telling me. However, I managed to get cheaper; almost half price quotes from various other companies. They renewed my car insurance automatically, and within 3 days I called to cancel and they charged me an admin FEE!

I initially took out a car insurance policy with Kwik-Fit as they beat my existing insurer by £80, and I get a discount card for tyres and exhausts.

When I was involved in an accident in my BMW 320i 24V coupe, I had put in a claim and was asked to provide two estimates for the claim to go ahead. After two months of not hearing anything, I received a letter saying that Kwik-Fit insurance were going to cancel my claim as they could not find the third party insurance details, even thoug ...

Kwik -Fit Car Insurance is garbage.

I got a good quote, which was cheaper than my existing insurance was. I signed the deal, but three months later they came back as they wanted more money because they couldn't (or couldn't be bothered) verify my no claims bonus. I have only ever been insured with well known companies or agents. I'm sure if I had claimed previously and not told them, they would have found out.

After managing to speak to a supervisor I was able to negotiate down to half the ...

Before I left to go to France I contacted Kwik-Fit Car Insurance and asked if I could get cover as I would be there for 6 months. I was told they would get back to me. They didn't get back to me even though I had given my mobile number. Thus, I assumed I was covered, and since I went to France they kept on debiting my account as I was paying monthly. Again assumption that they were covering me in France.

Four and half months in France and I had a accident. I rang them and was originally told ...

We have just bought a Rover 75 CDT (116 bhp) and had the Rover dealer up-rate it to 131bhp which is the same as the 75 CDTi the difference for the quote for the 2 cars £3.72 more for the CDTi, but as an upgrade to the car company refused to quote and cheapest Kwik Fit quote £640!!! Some £300 higher .. given we had asked them about it the week before and nothing was said about it being a potential problem I was more than a bit miffed!!! Ended up using the company that insures m ...

My experience of Kwik Fit was first of all that the consultant I spoke to knew everything about car insurance - inside and out, I was given good advice and all information was disclosed over the phone. My paperwork arrived the very next day and I was over the moon at the help I was given. They also spoke English unlike most other offices that are based in asia. They must have the best training as he could answer questions that other companies couldnt answer, but why spoil it and ask me about gas ...

I was insured with Kwik Fit for 5 years and also got my breakdown cover off them, I paid monthly by direct debit all was ok until I cancelled the breakdown cover or at least I tried to but they kept debiting my account for it even after numerous expensive phone calls. So the only thing I could think of doing was stopping the direct debit this was a mistake I admit but I only did it to make them stop taking more money than they were supposed to. Now they wont issue me with my no claims for the 5 ...

My partner was cold called by Kwik Fit claiming my insurance was due for renewal and if she could just answer a few questions we could get a special discount They gave her the impression she was renewing not changing. Luckily she cottoned on and declined, some people may be caught out. I would not place any money with a company that uses such tactics.
