    Good Points: Well written.

Bad Points: Fiction pushed to extremes and aimed at 13-18 years old.

General comments: The author seems to have been inspired by another novel dealing, for the first time in american fiction, with a sudden climate change. The novel is titled POLAR DAY 9 and was published by Berkely Press in 1993. The sudden freeze, the evacuation of millions, birds and animals foretelling the change, the closing of the Mexican borer to American refugees first appeared in POLAR DAY 9, Check it out. You'll be surprised.
