    I fell madly in love with the Mercedes Benz G Class G55 AMG the moment i saw it and decided i had to have one, luckily i found my perfect match shortly after in the perfect color.. she was a bit beat up from a short lived relationship with a guy who didnt appreciate her but once i took her in and prettied her up.. she started to open up to me and shine again, I now use her as a DD and i truely feel she is the one car I wouldnt mind keeping forever.. . its definatly not for everyone some wouldnt settle down with anything other than a range rover, x5, maybe even a hummer or a audi, etc... numerious choices nowadays but i personally would never trade my G55 for anything else.. true the going gets rough at times and shes high maintanance and likes to eat out alot, shes a bit out of shape compared to the other gals and doesnt turn out as fast but i love her just the way she is!

    The G55 is a beast!!! I have an SL 65 and a CLS 55 and this is by far the meanest

    I love the Mercedes Benz G Class G55 AMG and I think I will always have one. It is one of those vehicles that always gives me a chuckle as I walk up to it. It has never let me down to date. Safe drive. Stealthy not many know what it is or what it is capable of. There is beauty in simplicity.     All in all i love this car, no matter what i buy it's always my favorite this is my third G55 since 2001 it's kind of a love and hate relationship, i know all about the car, i had to change all suspensions and springs to something more progressive, so far the car rides like an S class very comfortible and handles like an SL on corners, i also had to do some adjustments to the rear door, so far so good and some minor mods to the door seals, i beleive this car will never go out of fasion it's an a ...

    Overall I think the Mercedes Benz G Class G55 AMG is a great car. It looks good and it makes heads turn all the time. Get a lot of hot chicks with it ; ) but seriously, the suspension is too stiff... I know it is an AMG, but they should make the suspension a little less stiff.
    The car looks amazing, but once you drive it and own it you will realize it is not worth it's crazy price tag.

    I have owned a Mercedes Benz G Class G55 AMG 4x4 for about two years. I will say it has a personality. It took several trips to the dealer to get a rattle out of the rear doors, but since it has been fixed the car is as solid as they get. Yes it is abit archaic but in todays time with all the cops etc etc. My last car was a 2000 M5 and yes it was quite an impressive car. It hauled ass for a four door sedan.     Mercedes Benz G Class G55 AMG:
    Having owned Landrovers, Range Rovers and Land cruisers in the past. I have found a 4X4 that I really like, although I have to say that my better half finds it difficult to get into being only 5 foot 3inches tall. If you are looking for a good all round 4X4 and do not pay too much attention to the fuel consumption then this is one car you should seriously take a look at.

    The Mercedes Benz G55 AMG is Solid as a rock. Beautiful to boot! Really roars when you hit the throttle, too. Great view with the large upright windshield. And, it actually handles very well/insofar as it's not scary to drive or control. Am really glad I got it...However the automatic transmission is kind of rough sometimes; it kicks down then has had the terrifying habit of slipping into neutral, not fun when you're going 60 mph.     You can take this anywhere. Worth every dough spent. Quality without compromise. Unquestionable Reliability. Performance unmatched. Bullet proof, solid. Feels like it can tow an M1A1 Abrahms Tanks.

    In the past three years I've owned NEW, an Excusrion, Cadillac Esclade (AWD), an H1 Hummer, Jeep Wrangler, and the G55. Of the five, the Cadillac was the best. I love the G55 for it's coolness factor (it's a head turner) but it's bumpy as all get out. If it were smoother, I'd say it's the best. Believe it or not, I have off-roaded it and it goes places my Wrangler wouldn't dream of, and I never locked the diffs.     G55 is a wild truck. They did a great job with the upgrades. The best part 4 is exhaust ports!
    Great wheels and tires. Sits lower.
