I obtained a competitive quote via go compare and rang to complete terms the first operator that I contacted could not find the quote under the reference that I quoted. I was unhappy as the terms were much better than my renewal,I rang again and the chap I spoke to the second time went out of his way to retrieve the quote I did not take his name but would like to thank him for his efforts to find my quote. “Avoid at all Costs”

On the 7th of January 2017 a woman crashed into the back of my car. The accident was completely her fault and she admitted liability at the scene. I have been driving for 16 years and this is the first time I have ever had a traffic accident, and I drive about 500 miles a week. “Steer well clear”

Car was hit by a Tescobank customer and they ended up repairing the wrong side, claiming their engineers had had a look and it was definitely the right side according to them despite this damage being there for years. I got a quote for my car a through comparison site and TB turned out to be cheapest. I called them and bought it and later I realised that info in documents they sent is not correct (mismatch between what I originally filled in comparison site application and documents that TB has sent). “Excellent after car accident! ”

I sadly had my first (and hopefully only) accident and Tesco were my insurer, having never claimed anything or had any car points, speeding fines etc I had no idea what to do. Tesco were very speedy, informative and helpful. I was injured and very shaken and spoke with 3 staff the very next day, who were all helpful and clear. haha make me laugh, you must be lucky or work for them, i had insurance with them for 2 years and i had one accident they didnot challenge third party make them to take liability , but they asked me to agree with 50/50 with the third party and thereafter 13month i take my case to private solicitor then i get compensation

You was lucky as I had a accident in a friend's car, where I was just a passenger. I ended up in hospital were i had a operation for a skin graft and now I'm scared on all the forarm and on my leg. Don't let them talk you into using there solicitors ( ages law )
They just mess people about. I'm in the process of taking them to court.

I set up my insurance about 2 months ago now when I bought it was told I would have a black box (which I did not mind) they told me about their bonus miles and to me it sounded rather good ... They told me the basics on what the box would measure and I felt this would be rather good for me .... I was wrong !! Would give no stars if I could! Customer services dealing with claim giving varied and conflicting information. Had a small bump in Aldi car park when a delivery lorry reversed into me -minimal damage but recommended garage still managed to come up with a bill of £1000. Replacement headlight was totally unnecessary in my opinion (I'm a mechanic)! “Rip off renewal - robbing bustards”

After two close together accidents in early 2014 when insured with a different company I took out motor insurance with Tesco in July 2014 for £890 pa, after 1 year with 1 years NCD the premium was then £920 at renewal. This year at July renewal time with 2 years NCD the renewal premium was £1250. I did a compare the market search and within 20 mins had signed up with Elephant. If you have occasion to change vehicle during the insurance period be ready to get charged heavy.. I changed my car 3 months into the years policy to a car two years older in a lower insurance group lower value I was charged and extra £95 plus a £20 admin fee.
