we had read some of the reviews and were slightly dubious about going to Binimar Resort, when we got there we were pleasently surprised the rooms, complex and pool areas were very clean, the food was good and hot all the time and the staff especially in the restaurant downsairs were lovely, polite and also made my 8 month old daughter smile when they sang to her in spanish.
i would definatly go back again A* from our family.

Initially we had booked to go to the Cala N Blanes Hotel which we were informed a couple of months before we were due on our family "Honeymoon had been closed down and First Choice had booked us in at the Binimar Resort on the same All Inclusive deal.Initially I was worried at the size of the hotel with there being over 400 apartments, I thought it may be very busy and chaotic, and after reading some reviews on here even more worried.
HOWEVER we had a fantastic time, I must admit that I think it ...

I stayed at Binimar Resort with my husband, two children and their partners and 6 grandchildren aged between 14 and 2. We had a fabulous time. Our appartments were right opposite kiddies play area. Food was plentiful and always hot. Excellent maid service and all staff very charming. Value for money was excellent. Only thing that spoilt our stay was the inconsiderate young spanish girls and boys who were celebrating the fiesta til 2 in the morning above our heads. |One security guard was tr ...

We had our luggage stolen from the Cala n Forcat, Binimar Resort hotel on the last day of our holiday. This ruined our holiday. The tour operator was not much help and our insurance company will not pay out.

A TRULY DREADFULL HOLIDAY,DO NOT USE THIS COMPLEX.

We originally booked the Calan Blanes Hotel . Approximately 6 weeks before we were due to leave .Thompsons said that the Blanes Hotel was not available, however we could have a no charge upgrade to the Binimar complex. We agreed to the change. We have used the Blanes on two previous visits and enjoyed our stay.

The Binimar is an inferior complex with shabby worn apartments,Food although displayed well was always luke warm. The whole complex has a ...

Would go back again for sure, rooms near tennis pool are best, we had 323 and 321 and are by far the best rooms! Very safe, good choice of food on all inclusive, great entertainment for all ages and great location.

Took 3 children (9, 13 and 15) and they enjoyed the pools very much. The rooms were cleaned daily and had good views over one of the 3 pools.

The Binimar apartment complex has all you need, and the adjacent town (Cala n Blanes) is very clean and has good restaurants.

We would go back, although not in high season!

All reps and hotel staff at the Binimar Resort in Menorca were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and good value for money. The rooms were big enough for the four of us, and we received clean towels and bedding nearly every day. The pools are great (3 of them). The entertainment was good. It is in a great location, and we booked for 2007 the same day we arrived home. Can't wait! I would recommend it to families!

I have been to Menorca a few times, and Cala N Forcat is the best ...

I stayed at the Binimar resort in Menorca. The entertainment was the same every day up to 10:15, so you may as well save your money and go to Butlins! The cooker was a waste of time, you may as well use a cigarette lighter. Also, there were no reps on the site to help after the terror alert in the UK on the 10th August, and the Binimar didn't seem to care less.

What a great week we had at the Binimar resort in Menorca! Our 2 kids loved every minute of it. We also loved it. Our room was cleaned every day, and also clean towels if needed. The complex was spotless, and the entertainers were excellent. We can't wait to return there next year.

Highly recommend to anyone wishing to travel there.

You can no longer buy cigarettes or tobacco in the Binimar resort in Menorca. They can only be bought singular in machines. You can however get a bus into Citudella and buy them from tobacco shops.

We made the best of a bad situation on our holiday to the Binimar Resort, and I will never go back to Menorca or recommend it, as it's just too quiet!! Also, if you go to the water park, don't book through your travel company, it's a rip off, pay at the park for less than half price (even though, there are only 4 slides).

4 of us really enjoyed the weeks stay at the Binimar. We found the hotel staff helpful, and the entertainment staff exceptional. Rooms were fine and met our needs.

I would recommend the Binimar to anyone with young children, and we will be going back there in the future.

Four adults were expected to stay in a room designed for 2 at the Binimar Resort in Cala n Forcat, Menorca. There is lots to do for young children, but very little for teenagers. One adult was on the sofa while another was on the camp bed.

I enjoyed my stay, but the area around the resort is very small and quiet, and I missed the atmosphere of other islands.

I returned from the Binimar on 8/10/05 having spent a week there with my husband & 2 yr old son. We were very unlucky with the weather (it rained from Sat Night - Thursday Morning thunderstorms the lot). The accomodation is very basic and would probably be ok as a base, but because we didn't have good weather we were stuck in resort. The 'entertainment' only began at 10pm at night (earliest) and appeared to consist of the usual third rate tribute nonesense. It was in fact a blessing in disguise ...

If you are looking for a 18-30 holiday Cala n Forcat is not for you but with clean accomodation and activities to keep you busy I thought this was a brilliant holiday. Food is nice the people are lovely and you are a short walk (2 mins)away from some bars I recommend Cheers it's small but you have a pool table and karaoke night and they are very generous with the alcohol, they have a 40/50 year old gentleman that stands at the door making sure everyone is ok. He does not speak any English at all ...
