    Good Points: Good looking
good deal with 102 DVDs included

Bad Points: Some DVDs scratched and will need attention to play correctly

General comments: I bought the Decca DDV2120 for £179, each DVD works out at £1.70 each which is good value if you then consider the player is thrown in for free. The DVDs are not the latest blockbusters but are not too bad

I bought this as a bit of a gamble. I could not get hold of a dv5100. Hoping the hack for the dv5100 or the 2110 would work on this player. I should be so lucky. Won't access any secret menus (that I could find) so unable to turn off macrovision. Also unable to convert to multiregion and cannot get the thing to play any of my v.c.d's either. Purchased package of the Decca DDV2120 DVD player and 102 DVD movies from Powerhouse Oct 2002. Not exactly Oscar winning movies but hey, less than £1 a film for an instant collection. £199 the lot.
Warning, some movies may not play too well - had one that kept locking up but when played on a friends Sony, played perfectly.
An interesting stopgap measure until the recordable DVD's start to become more reasonably priced.

Bought this Deccavideo DDV2120 DVD player as a package from Powerhouse - DVD + 102 movies £199. Ok, so the movies aren't Oscar winners, but hey that's less than a £1 a film.
Why isn't there an ident anywhere on the player or documents that tells you where it's made?
