trigger on my Gamo PT-80 pt80 was 8 pounds! that sucks for accuracy! I made a new trigger return spring and got it down to 5lb. it groups really good at 20ft and after about 200 rounds no issues yet. length of pull is too long also. If it came with a 4# trigger pull this would be a great pistol!

The Gamo PT-80 is great for shooting aluminum cans at ten feet. Will not even break a bottle on the first shot. The seal is weak, and when you try to buy one from Gamo, you are SOL.

I've owned my Gamo PT-80 for about a month now and have put roughly 250 pellets through it with no problems whatsoever. It shoots straight and hits a lot harder than I expected. I've never owned a CO2 airgun before. I'm getting 50+ shots before I need to change CO2 cartriges. I think the seal problems people complain about with this gun is from overtightening the CO2 cartrige. It only needs to be tight enough to seal (about 1/2-3/4 turns after the initial puncture), any tighter and you risk dama ...

The Gamo PT-80 is excellent for the money. I have fired approximately 500 rounds and had no trouble. Use it for practice and find that it will shoot through an aluminum can. Rear sight is easily loosened but I cured that with super glue.

this Gamo PT-80 gun is a cannon. It is far more powerful than most of the bb and pellet guns that I own. It possess real power, and I fine report in self defense.

Real good for sale price; not really expecting too much from a co2 pistol as i would a regular air rifle. Pretty reliable, no problems yet.

The Gamo PT-80 is a nice gun. Accuracy is rock n roll once you get the feel. The locking bolt that secures the CO2 cannister is vevy weak and liable to buckel and break (as it did with me) I have overcome the problem. It is now very robust,,, silly gamo

Be Careful when changing Co2 Cartridges, DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN [GAMO SAYS; I say poor sealing material and design. The Co2 seals on 1 of the PT80's that I returned to store (returned 4 of these for reasons I will list) and 1 that I still have blew out. GAMO REPLACEMENT Breech Seals are 1/16" under size on the O.D. and over sized on the I.D. by 1/32" compared to original seal!!! The Breech Seal has ripped and blown out on 2 of the PT80's I've owned; 1 returned for blown Breech Seal. Gamo will not ...

Not as powerful as a pump type air pistol but good for rapid firing. Accuracy is average for an air gun but at only 410fps, it's not going to be accurate at a very long range. Nicely finished, durable and inexpensive. Couldn't ask for more at the price.
This pistol is fairly accurate at close range. I've shot squirrels with it, and while it doesn't kill them, they do seem to notice that they've been hit. (they are a real nuisance here, which is why I want to get rid of them).
    My Gamo PT-80 uses ...

Overall I'm pleased for the money! I took mine out of the box. Loaded it and it is right on. I have not had to make any site adjusts as of yet.
The only thing I do not like about it is the trigger pull. Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done with it? If it can be adjusted it would make it everything I expected and a real sweet, smooth little shooting gun.

If you make a shim (hot glue, gorrela glue, tape, wood etc) you can stick it inside the slide when you have it look and figure out how it works and just figure out a way to stick it in there and your trigger pull will be lighter buy more cylenders at gamo.com
its internally a revolver so be for warned not blowback

Less than 20 shots fired have already gone through 5 CO2 cartridges trying to get them to seat properly. Pellets stick in barrel, probably due to low pressure due to poor seating. A huge dissapointment. I need to find time to take the gun back. A waste of money..

I bought the Gamo PT80 for in-home self defense shooting practice when I can't get to a proper target range to shoot firearms. It does a really decent job at replicating the short range accuracy of a real pocket sized firearm such as a .38 Special Snub Nose revolver or a .380 ACP pocket pistol.Anyone used to pulling a trigger through double action will feel right at home with the Gamo. It's not as smooth as a real gun's trigger can be, but at 13 lbs. (my measurement) it is lighter than many doub ...

When i bought this pistol it was a replacement for my GAMO PT-90 which was equally really poor! I had to send it back as it had alot of feeding problems and eventually began to leak. I was offered a new pt90 or an exchange for another gamo pistol of similar value. Like a fool i thoughjt that all gamo's can't be that bad. The first session with my PT-80 was not all that positive as it failed to group and of the 7 brands of pellet i tested. The final straw came when i fitted a laser to see if this ...

The Gamo PT 80 is a good side arm. I have used one many times and found that it has very good accuracy. Only problem I found was that the CO2 runs out in about 5 minutes

For its price a good reliable gun. If you respect its limitations (power etc) it will provide hours of fun. A good training weapon if you are unable to keep your hand it with the real thing.
