Bad Points: Just one problem - that you can't download new ringtones.

General comments: Ericsson A3618 - I bought this mobile and I found it has a good signal, a good battery life, 4-colour screen, and actual keypad, a good phone book. The sound is also very good. I think for the price it is really good and is better than any other mobile.

I recommend this phone to anyone who, wants value for money, a small, lightweight, and nice looking phone, which - although has limits of not being able to download ringtones and pictures. Is great for what it is.
I have used this phone for a few days, befor my own second hand one arrives.....
DON't be fooled by people who dis this phone for the main reason of not being able to download ringtones!!

This phone is sleek and good looking but the reception is very bad. It cannot take signals sometimes even in the open air. Please improve it signal capacity.

If you have more money, buy another one. I think a Nokia is a better bet.

It is small lightweight phone and has some cool features. You can't download ringtones but hey that's ok. You can compose them !! Use the battery judiciously (opt out of screensaver option) and it is a very good value for money cell

I love the size and even though I've been a Nokia person all my phone owning life, it didn't take long to work out how to use the menus.
Battery life I find is fine. If you have a screensaver and play with it lots, the battery runs down quickly. Don't worry about all the silly stuff. Just use it as a phone and not an extension of your personality, and it works fine.

Well to start with I really liked this phone, it's compact, different backlights, predictive text. I bought it five months ago...since then I have changed my opinion.
The battery life is TERRIBLE, runs flat after one call, freezes during text messages, and then it is sooo fragile, I dropped it from sitting position onto grass..now when I turn it on it has a 1cm thick line on the screen.

It's a bad phone ... if you are purchasing a newbie ... go for Nokia 3310 ... it also comes for the equivallent price but has very great features than this one ... you can't make any Ringtone Messages , Picture Messages , Signal is low, battery goes down early ... what else remaining we need in a phone ?

It's good in in style and looks but few features missing like downloading ringtones.
    However they can be composed.
The number of rings is also less and of course the battery runs for 45-50 hrs standby mode

Theh Ericsson A3618 is a small, compact phone and its set out really great, but the battery doesn't last all that long and the signal runs out quickly. It has some great games, backrounds and screensavers though.
