Good Points: Lovely looking car
Bad Points: swirl flaps on inlet manifold
General comments: I have got a BMW 320d on a 02 plate 60k miles and just spent '£450 on inlet manifold change as a preventive measure because if a swirlflap drops of in gets sucked through your turbo and goes straight into your engine and can scrap your engine even if you service regularly and with full service history from BMW.

As a high mileage driver (my daily commute is 50 miles each way) I needed a car that would be reliable, frugal, and quick.
My last car was a 320d SE saloon, and my major gripe with it was the boot space, I simply couldn't fit awkward shaped things into it.
The BMW 320d SE Touring solves this problem by having seats that fold flat, which gives you a large storage area.
The back seats are split 70/30 to allow you to just fold down one side, which gives you more options.
