Bad Points: I'd have liked it to have had more about her life in the 20's!
General comments: Martina Cole, Goodnight Lady is simply the best book I've read! I finished it yesterday and I'm so gutted, I just wanted it to go on and on! I've never read a book that's gripped me like this, the characters are amazing and the relationship between Briony and Tommy is so lovely!
Reading the back of the book I wouldn't have thought it would have been good and normally wouldn't have read it as it doesn't do it justice at all but I'm so glad I did now! I'll have to read more of her books if they are as good as Goodnight Lady but I can't see any being quite like this!

Martina Cole potrayed all her characters well especially Briony Cavanagh, this women seemed to have all the power and the plot was very good it had you crying at parts of the book but you couldn't put it down. I can never seem to put any of her books down the ending also was a suprise aswell.
