Barbara Kingsolver's The Poisonwood Bible is written in good detail but it was so boring and too long with not enough action.

Barbara Kingsolver, The Poisonwood Bible is one of my favourite books and despite my comments in 'Bad Points' a must-read. Its good points easily outweigh its bad ones. I loved the voices, found it very funny, and shocking and I very much admired the courage and integrity of an American citizen documenting so powerfully the truly evil foreign policy of Amertica and Britain. Very relevant today to what is still going on in Afghanistan and Iraq, but even if you have no interest in politics this is ...

Barbara Kingsolver, The Poisonwood Bible was one of the best books I've ever read. At one part I was reading with tears running down my face. It made me look for more Kingslover books, and I have never been dissapointed in any of them.
