If the Volkswagen Golf is kept well maintained with attention to detail ie correct camber, toe angles, fuel injection youve got a high performance hot hatch for a couple of grand. It'll leave most things at the lights and gives good mpg, well mine does about 32 on mixed use. However, watch the brakes, upgrade them or go easy. Older ones like an octane additive it's up to you tho cos they'll perform nicely without it. A truly enjoyable car thats going to appreciate in value.- Read wild wllie barret's review (108 words)
