I ' ve only had the car 1 year and my flywheel went twice (grinding noise in first gear) at a cost of £1000 each time! Electric fault lights keep coming up, "Diesel Additive minimum level" light shows even though it has been topped up and refilled, and engineers can ' t get the light off! "Unblock diesel filter" shows every now and again. Sometimes the drivers door wont open so have to keep manually locking and unlocking until it works.
Worst car I have ever owned, had a 306 prior to gett ...

I write this having just returned from a long night trying to have my failed 307 towed. On this ocassion the electronic 'features' of the car decided to all fail at the same time. Yes, that means they all work but not together. So it wont start, select neutral (therefore cannot be towed!) I can't open the rear door (it is an electronic switch) the wipers wont stop wiping, the doors will not lock. It is basically a boat anchor sitting in a public car park. Here Iam hoping I return tomorrow to fin ...

Bought the Peugeot 307 2.0 HDi 90 Rapier as a car for my wife with the plan to keep the miles down and keep it for 6 years, we find ourselves awaiting delivery of an X-Trail. The problems we have had led us to get shot before anything else went wrong. The good points are the handling, engine and MPG, this was the 6th Peugeot we've had between us and will most likely be the last one despite the looks of the 407.
