    Good Points: Nice looking.

General comments: ABS failure, callbacks, having to use a Peugeot garage and be made to feel little and them doubting what I say to them. Letting them do a call back on car for abs problem, was fine before we took it in 1 day after noises grinding and abs light flashing. But its not there fault, oh no!
This is our first Peugeot and our last, never go totally for looks. would never buy a Peugeot again as the after care is not good at all as they don ' t like admitting when they are wrong.

We've had the similar problems with our Peugeot 307 1.6 LX which we bought new in Sept 02. The carpet came away in the drivers well, faulty indicator stick and squeaky exhaust. Having read about these problems elsewhere, it took our Peugeot dealer long enough to rectify everything. When the indicator broke after 3 weeks, I took it back to the dealer where the car spent the day. When I picked it up I was assured it was fixed but on driving it up the road it obviously hadn't been touched - and ...

I've had this Peugeot 307 1.6 LX family car for three years now and it has been in and out of the garage endless times with various faults e.g.:

    Interior carpet coming away
    Noises from front of car
    Leaking head gasket
    Roll cage movement!!
    Faults with Central Locking
    Leaking Gearbox
    Faulty Hazard Light button

The most frustrating thing of all is the time that it takes for parts and repairs to take place. Peugeot Head office not the most willing to help and neither is the dealer I ...

The Peugeot 307 1.6 LX is a nice looking car, plenty of space inside, however there are lots of faults with the car, Peugeot will fix them eventually, but you don't expect a new car to be frequently in the garage when bought from new, peugeot need to get to grips with the problems that a lot of people are having and sort them out once and for all, not doing it on an ad-hoc basis
