    Bad Points: Most of the parenting examples are from American parents with their inimitable way of speaking - may put some British people off!


    General comments: Full of practical, easily assimilated tips that can be used immediately on your child with great results.Also talks at the end how these skills might be transferred to your communications with even adults! There are cartoons with examples of how to apply the skills. These are really useful.Talks a lot about empowering parents and the importance of the parent's feelings. This is a must read book for anyone who is genuinely at the end of their tether with dealing with their child of any age and anyone who wants to work to improve their relationship with their child.
