Good Points: The childrens' characters were wonderfully precocious, especially Max.
The stories always seem to be based on somewhat dizzy characters, who are hilarious in their attempts to appear more 'intelligent.' The humour contained in all of the books is so subtle and clever.
    Can't find fault at all.

    Bad Points: Absolutely none.

General comments: Catherine Alliott, Rosie Meadows Regrets - My husband bought 'A Married Man' for 20p from a hospital charity shop. It was knocking about in the house for months, when one day I had nothing new to read and picked it up. I couldn't put it down again! I was enthralled. What a wonderfully refreshing read. I laughed until I cried and cried until I laughed. I finished it in 2 days. I have since gone scouring about in my local library looking for more. I cannot get enough of this absolutely talented, realistic, humourous and intelligent author. I have since read 'Rosie Meadows Regrets' and 'Olivia's Luck,' all within 7 days. Both books equally as titillating. Well done Catherine! Well done! You definitely have a new fan.
