this book is absolutely beautiful...! it is a romantic novel of love, beauty, vengeance and loyalty. i was consumed by the book that i could not put it down the first time i read it, feeling the hatred, anger, desires and every other emotion each character felt... it is really amazing!!
it really warmed me with the compassion and love the characters shared, as well as the persitence as the main character, Erieene, was woed constantly by the one whom she always denied, at the same time loving him without knowing until he id badley wounded. there is such a great twist throughout the novel that you could never guess what will come next or the outcome of each event...

One of my all time favorite books. I've probably read it at least 15 times. Kathleen woodiwiss has such a witty way with words, and as with all of her books, once you start reading, you don't want to put it down!

In general, it is a wonderful love story which leaves you turning the pages until the end. Im a fun of Woodwiss although English is not my native language . Actually, her books encouraged me to read books in english. Although i live in Tunisia, I succeeded in purchasing her most known books which include Shanna, Ashes in the wind,The wolf and the dove,The Flame and the flower,The elusive flame and Come love a stranger. My love for her books began when I first discovered an old copy of The (Flame ...

Kathleen Woodiwiss, A Rose in Winter: You SHOULD go buy it. Only 3 or 4 years ago, someone gave this book to my mom. I don't know how this person could give away this fantastic book. I don't read too much, but a day I took this book and I loved it!! And I still love it. I recommended it to my mom and she liked it, too. I read it 3 times and today I'm reading it again this is the 4th time, hahaha. I can't get enough!! I simply love it.
I think that the book should have a film, but it'll be too ...

A Rose in Winter is one of the best books I've ever read, if not, THE best book I've ever read. At first I just saw the book in a box and just decided to myself that by the title and the summary on the flaps that it sounded good, so I decided to read it. One of the things I like best about this book is that it starts up very good. It starts with action and does not have to escalate into it. It's exciting from the very beginning to the very end. This book also has all the elements in it that ...

My mom said A Rose in Winter was her favorite book, and that I should read it. I was too young to really get in it at first, but then I read it and loved it. We really want Kathleen Woodiwiss to make it into a movie, because it would be awesome and I am sure everyone would go see it. I loved the book and it was my favorite book. I can't really give it away so you have to read it, but I recommend it and so would my mom. We read all of her books and have almost every single one but this one was th ...
