Good Points: Good writing style, fast-paced, excellent storyline
Bad Points: Rather small. Will finish quickly and leave you wanting for more!
General comments: This is a gem of a book by Stephen King. A man develops extra-sensory perception powers after a series of head injuries and a long spell in a coma. The plot revolves around his new-found powers and the rather cosmic-importance mission he sets himself on, using his new talents. It is is rather fast-paced book (by King's standards) and reads well. The reader will identify with the hero and feel for his plight. The story is well conceived and keeps you gripped till the end. Highly recommended.

I just started Stephen King's The Dead Zone a few days ago and am only half way through it. Still, I thought I should just write a little review so far. I am totally wrapped in this book. I have been reading Stephen King for over 15 years now (still only halfway through his mass collection) and have found 90% of his books addictive to say the least. I tend to prefer his non-horror books which is why I like The Dead Zone (would you consider this horror cos I wouldn't!)
I dont need to go over t ...- Read mr spillsy's review (181 words)
