Good Points: Elegant, comfortable, and fast. A car to be seen in. Quiet with roof open or closed. Practical 4 seater, with largish boot (which expands when the roof is closed).
Bad Points: Poor rear visibility.
General comments: I fell in love with this car on it's looks when I first saw it.
Being a family man I needed a car which could fit 4 people along with luggage for longer journeys, and that would be comfortable for 200 mile plus trips.
The CLK meets those specifications, but when the sun comes out it's also a beautiful convertible. As usual with Mercededs it's relatively conservative inside, but this just adds to it's stylishness.
The 3.2 litre V6 engine is quiet, and very fuel efficient - 30 mpg plus on a good run.
Not the fastest sporty convertibe, but fast enough.
I hope to keep this car for many years.
