Good Points: Handling is out of this world with PSM. Fuel consumption is reasonable. Build quality is too high standard. Practicality for everyday use.

Bad Points: You will find Porsche service teams not as professional as you would like, Unlike Ferrari.
1st gear and reverse gear are to close together.

General comments: Excellent build quality on the Porsche 996 911 Carrera 4 Coupe apart from plastic interior parts. Very spacious in front, tight for adults in rear. Drive is hard with sports suspension but sticks to the road like glue. Will out do a Ferrari 360 on the bends, Have sports exhaust on mine which sounds lovely when it revs over 3000 rpm. Pulls well up to 155mph, not as quick as I thought come 160mph+. GT3 kit gives the dull standard Carrera 4 a beefy look. Sports seats support and look way better than standard seats. I've had a boxster with the 4-spoke steering wheel (RUBBISH) go for the 3-spoke wheel. Boot is not as spacious as Carrera 2 boots due to 4x4. Overall a practical drivers car, not suitable for 4 people or with luggage.

I have the sports suspension option and yes, on our nasty british poorly maintained roads it can be a bit of a handfull, but its a 175mph supercar, not a poxy Forxhall!!! So who cares????

I go home each night and just before I shut the garage door I have a last little look and a huge grin spreads across my face.... Does your car do th ...
