Good, concise and informative book on main aspects of post modernism. Reading it helped me understand philosophical background and how postmodernism affects our daily lives, from media, politics up to art and science.

Christopher Butler's well written book has helped enormously to mark the distinction that exists between modernism and postmodernism. Though a very short introduction as the subtitle indicates, the book succeeds in handling lucidly its subject. The philosophical, social, lingusitc, political and lietery implications of postmodernism are impressive to anyone involved with investigations in such domains.- Read javid26's review (80 words)
