Good Points: Nice interior, comfortable economic on diesel. Nice badge on front (snob).
Bad Points: High service costs, and parts.
General comments: Only done 66k already had fuel pump fail, now has rumble noise from transmission around 1400rpm, worse when hot very worrying.I took my C Class C220 to Mercedes Benz garage, but no idea, wanted it in for two hours just to look! Also at tick over chirpy noise from front somewhere. Surely at 66k it has just run in? not out!! I bought the car with the prestige marque as I expected many years trouble free motoring. My old Ford Sierra was sold with 118k and engine original!

Had it 6 weeks now, bought it 6 months old from local MB dealer...excellent service...well it should be shouldn't it ?
So far i'm very pleased...always wanted the 3 pointed star on the bonnet. I like the manual despite what the motoring press say.... but that parking brake ! Probably fine with an auto, but you need 2 left feet, particularly for hill starts. Quite unnerving the first time I visited hilly Bristol.
Once you get used to moving your feet like a demented organist , its not too bad.
