Good Points: Plenty of storage good visibilty from cab brilliant for overtaking on motorway in all good layout
Bad Points: I had bought this with 50k on the clock from MSF Ford Birkenhead Wirral and what a let down dealership this is. Customer care none and no matter how confident you are in buying from a Ford dealer please make sure that whatever you spot wrong on the van whether it be a chip in the screen, holes in the dash fascia 27 of them (mobile phone holders etc) front broken bumper end cap make sure you get it in writing and don't drive away in the vehicle and expect them to guarantee to book it in later. This happened to me, and they said do you have this in writing I said no, they said tough then we won't do it, and I had to deal with 3 sales reps who all left in 3 weeks of selling me the van. This van smokes like an old Landrover sorry even worse and I own one and is lucky to push 23-24 mpg around town there is something wrong with it. Ford are still fine tuning the engine management system as I write this I have another 970 miles to do before they will take it in and check it again. Oh and they offered me a Ford Ka as a courtesy vehicle I am a self employed signwriter? come on Ford get real.
General comments: For my next van I will try a Mercedes dealership as for MSF Ford Birkenhead not a chance

The Ford Transit 350 LWB MR 125bhp is a very well put together van.
having owned a l.w.b. transit 190 2.5 1993 for 10 years now and clocked up 359,000 miles on the same engine you can see why I am so pleased with my new van. there is just no comparison with the old model at all. they are cheaper to run (around mid thirtys )with a luton back , they will do 80-90 on the motor way all day in comfort.seating is on of the best i have tried. being 6ft 6 ins i need to have the seat fully back,i can do ...

The N/S Transit is the best in its class (Yes, I drove all the others to come to this conclusion).
The 125ps is the best option as it has good roadholding, smooth power & comfort. It is also more economical than the 90ps as there is hardly any strain or effort to drive with no noise or vibrating panels like the old Transit. There is a wide range of options to choose from to suit everyone.
