    Good Points: Quiet, spacious apartment. Quiet pool area.

    Bad Points: Poorly furnished, fairly rundown. Pool not very clean. Whole apartment block had a very run down feeling, there are much nicer apartments close by.

    General comments: We could not have escaped from bedroom in event of fire. Very steep hill or lots of steps the only ways down to the beach. Pavements in the area are very dangerous with lots of holes and plenty of dog muck.

    Casa Palmeras - just got back after 3 weeks. Place owned by Ann and Keith (Casapalmeras.co.uk) who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Spoke to them a number of times on the 'phone asking for tips etc and they were patient and very informative. Place was spotless and exactly as the website said it would be. Will book again for an Easter break next year and can't wait to go back.

    We stayed at Casa Palmeras No. 111 (which you can see at www.casapalmeras.co.uk). It really is an excellent location. One of the good things about this particular apartment is that it has a washing machine and dishwasher and it offers special prices for families. We were about 2/3 minutes to the beach.

    We stayed in apartment 408 at the Colony Club - it was a lovely apartment. Everything was exactly as promised, clean and spacious, modern apartment. The owners Nikki and Kev are fabulous as is Phil who lives above and ferries you about for a nominal fee. The pool area is really nice, never gets crowded and benefits from full day sunshine.     I have just returned from a holiday at the Colony Club in Puerto del Carmen on Lanzarote. I stayed two nights in the Colony Club before moving to a new apartment. Some of the problems. 1. Lights hanging off the wall. 2. Major cracks in the glass floor of the balcony. 3. The insides of the light fittings were filthy. 4. Cigarette burns and stains on the bed linen 5.     This holiday was GREAT!! A great boulevard with lots of cool pubs 'n clubs and a lovely, clean beach with clear and cool water.
