    Good Points: great space, great engine - recommend


    Bad Points: underside rust - get it undersealed


    General comments: Buy one - recommended - look out for the ex bt ones they are bit better loaded with useful bits - excellent roof rack.

    I've used a 85T300 model Ford Transit Van since March 2004 which replaced my previous 1998 Transit 120 model.
    I can appreciate the improvements in refinement, but feel the new model has a lot of shortcomings and backward steps in useability.
    My van is the lowest powered model and heavily loaded with equipment. Lack of traction due to Front Wheel Drive is my biggest complaint.
    The steering also feels dead and overall this model is not a "driver's van" in the way the old rear wheel drive model ...
