    Good Points: always encouraging, never tries to tell you that there is only one "right" way to draw, humorous comments and clear instructions


    Bad Points: none


    General comments: This book is great for anyone wanting to learn to draw in a fun and non-scholrorly way. Although Quinten Blake is a trained artist, the book is about giving the would be artist guidelines and not rigid rules, encouraging the person to draw in a way that makes her or him happy. Intended for children 8-12, but I, an adult, found it instructive and well worth spending time with.
