This book was absolutley a horrible read. Julians constant smart remarks and comments throughout the book are very offputting. I would not reccomend this book to anyone as it will only lead themto faliure in their exams. (read more)

Pretty comprehensive presentation for intermediate level learners. Compact text that could be completed in a reasonable amount of time. A classroom lecturer would need to augment their material from other sources for more thorough presentation to a diversified group of learners. (read more)

I used this book whilst studying A levels and it is simply not a book a would recommend. It's not just because it can be quite hard to get to grips with but the way it is layed out is extremely "shoddy" in my opinion. I know that i am not the only student who regretted using this book, and even the lecturer told us that he would order different books in future.
Waste of cash, buy something that contains less useless information and is easily put into context

Overall Julian Mott,Ian Rendell, Database Projects is an excellent book which can be used to increase your knowledge about databases in MS Access. It will assist you to build a successful database. Simplicity, Explanations, Step by Step instructions, ScreenShots and codes are all included. I found this book very useful when I was using it to help me with my college project. (read more)
