    Good Points: It must surely be the authorative French-English-French dictionary, improved by the inclusion of model letters, invitations, and other useful forms of communications. Almost every word and phrase is dealt with comprehensively giving variations of the use of words in useful forms and phrases.


    Bad Points: Its bulk; but what can you expect from such a monumental work?


    General comments: Marie-Helene Correard,Valerie Grundy, The Oxford-Hatchette Concise French Dictionary : French - English, English - French - Slavish word for word translation is a thing of the past. I am currently engaged in the refurbishment of a French property, largely by e-mail correspondence with a wholly French team of architect and builders. I find it indispensable.
