    Good Points: The perfect book for me. As a beginner this is just the writer type of language I could handle.


    Bad Points: Can't think of one.


    General comments: I think that his books are based on a broad level, where everyone interested in teaching and who want to qualify themselves should read his books>
    In my opinion, anyone would, without mistake, gain a huge amount of helpful guidance which will go a long way.

    An excellent intro to all that you will meet on your PGCE course, best used as a 'jumping off' text to lead you to other research. (i.e., use Petty for your submissions but google the people he quotes to get references from the primary sources).
