Enid Blyton, The Secret Island is a VERY exciting book. I haven't read it for many years, but i remember reading it as a child and i loved it (put it this way it never stayed in the library for long.) It's great for all ages, I've just bought another copy and I am about to read it again. It is full of adventure and has you wanting to turn the page to find out more, I just couldn't get enough. The Secret Island is the best Blyton book I read as a child. I have tried to get hold of it in the library but was unsuccessful. It is un-put-down-able. My favourite parts were how the children grew all kinds of wholesome fruit and veg and put them together to make delicious meals.- Read Soraya's review (90 words)
