EVERYTHING WEARS OUT BUT THAT'S THE WAY IT IS... Own this Kia Sedona 2.9 CRDi for couple years and hawe to say so far so good! Dont let your car down - do regulary service it or just check oil, brakes and every thing else and don't race it ... That is a Family car instead!!! ... and it won't let you down!!! Great for space, very nice to ride very comfortable seating position (high - easy to see road better as well)- can drive non-stop for haf a day and+++ (was in europe this year and did 6 hours non-stop at a time when travering through belgium, germany, poland - easy)
... if you are thinking about MPV try Kia Sedona... You won't be disappoined - you will love it! ... same as I do my KIA!
    chiers!

I have bought the Kia Sedona, I wish I had bought a bus pass instead. This car has spent more time in the garage then on the road. Currently residing on my drive as I contemplate whether to spend 1500 pounds on a gearbox, having just spent 800 pounds on a head gasket. Nightmare of a car, the only good thing is that internally (seating space) it is very roomy and spacious...shame it cannot perform as a reliable car.

The Kia Sedona 2.9 SX TDI is a good pulling car have a twin axle sports style caravan no problem. as a shudder in the sterring at 48mph told tracking wheel aligning tyres wearing onoutside of tyre fronts. i do air conditioning found that front pipe to accumilator where bracket behind front grill wears down so loss of gas replace it at £75.00, gas takes to fill 1150 gms double air con, brakes do wear a little plus tyres to, watch for door screws coming loose. air filter replaced .

The Kia Sedona 2.9 SX TDI has space , comfort miles per gallon easy to get in and out my wife is disabled. Excellent mpv had 3 previa before and will never go back to toyota sure previa got a bit more storage space but kia is alot more comfortable and cheaper to run and buy secondhand, shame about no manual out yet to fix it. Noise from engine under load but what do you expect from a big diesel

I am definitely disappointed with my kia Sedona 2.9 SX TDI but i also love it to bits! i know i am going to have to trade it in for another car and it won't be a kia of any kind! what a pity a lovely looking car but kia just haven't got it right.
My brakes have been replaced every year. had virtually engine collapse last year costing a lot and i mean a lot!!! leaking fuel pipe. 6 new tyres because of wear on inside, and the tracking perfect apparently. rust one metre long under sil on left side ...

I too have the same problem with no power from time to time whilst driveing change gear and try to accelerate but no power the dealer said the pump was at fault and would need replacing and the injectors as well as the pipes and tank all under warranty
You should be aware that the pump can be covered by a 6 year warrenty by the manafacturer as it is supposed to last longer than that so dont be fobbed off.

I bought the Kia Sedona in January 2003 brand new for 19k. I reckon it has cost me close to another 5k in garage bills to keep on the road for five years. Considering the first 3 years were covered by a manufacturer warranty it's quite expensive. The last year of it's life it broke down 5 times, twice on the motorway when the car ground to a complete halt! It being an automatic this was very worrying and dangerous. This sorry saga culminated in an estimated repair bill of over 2k, which I decide ...

I am trying to get rid of my Kia Sedona quick, as I can not afford the huge repair bills, I urge anyone with fuel problems to quit before they spend any money on repairs. Trade your car in and get a more reliable car before you break down somewhere!

Too many niggling faults with my Kia Sedona, paintwork easily marked, keeps cutting out and regularly won't start due to fault between fob and car - been back to dealers (even tried different ones) with no joy. Drive past a radio mast and it cuts out, go past police/firemen on radios and it cuts out! Kept locking us in as central locking kept activating while driving, steering rack had to be replaced after 3 years, gets through tyres - set every year - despite regular tracking and careful drivin ...

Will never have another Kia, the worst car I have ever owned. My 2002 Kia Sedona needed the coolant system pipes replaced at three years six months. It is now off road with fuel injector problems. My dealer can't or won't give me a final price for repair. I have been without the car for fifteen days and they just don't care.

I've had me Kia Sedona 2.9TDI Auto since 2003. Does only 5000 miles a year and every year I have to replace the front pads before MOT. Had to do front disks this year as well. Mileage 45,000 and Y reg.
Smoke on acceleration is 'embarrassing'.. Stick your foot down and it belches out leaving a smog for following drivers to negotiate and breathe in. In these days of 'pollution' this should be sorted....which incidentally is how I got to this form!

Brilliant driving position = safe driving. In bad weather can get in quickly with the grandchildren through the side doors. Plenty of room inside. Fuel consumption is acceptable.

Overall stay away from this vehicle - even though it has served the family for a few years - it is now slowly falling apart.

I never wanted a Kia but was in a bad car situation and so had no other options. I got stuck in this Kia with extremely high interest, but since the Kia depreciates so much, I am now stuck in a junk of a van and owe over twice the value. Again, it does ride nice and I haven't actually had it break down on me ever, but it is the other things that are continuously going wrong. I can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars in this van when all these tiny things keep going wrong due to bad craftsmansh ...

So far the Kia Sedona 2.9 SX TDI has proved great value for money. Its roomy enough for our camping trips, good on fuel and comfortable to drive. The local Kia dealers has been helpful with any questions and the first services past without pain. The only gripe I have is the paintwork is very thin and not resistant to our feathered friends droppings as I discovered when one made use of my bonnet and it went through to the primer. Kia dealer said it would not be covered by warranty but would t ...

Love our Kia Sedona 2.9 SX TDI is pleasure to drive, good visibility, lots of room in cabin, well kitted out, good vfm. We both have bad backs and the drivers seat moves in so many directions it is easy to travel in comfort, especially on long journeys. Economical, Versatile - back seats were removed when we bought it to make way for dog cage, middle row taken in and out when required for holidays with dogs. Air conditioner doesn't work well and we had to have £1500 of replacement pipes, ...

Clocked 38.000 miles since last August and not a single problem, I have purchased a 2001 Kia Sedona 2.9 SX TDI Auto model with a practical rear bench seat instead of 2002 onwards split seat model simply because of split seat later model is unpractical (awful is the true word) for the job I am doing,(I am a taxi driver).I avoid KIA service and dealership and use my own mechanic as the vehicle is serviced (oil/filter change) once every 6 weeks. Apart from the usual engine service, belt and brake p ...
