Good Points: Great looking car and plenty of room to fit my 3 kids in the back safely. Lots of load carrying space and excellent build quality. Very comfortable to drive and extremely reliable. This drives and handles like a car on the road and also copes nicely with light off roading. Unlike other 4x4's you don't feel like you are in a tractor.
Bad Points: Fuel consumption 22mpg. The tracking needs to be adjusted, but has to go to a BMW garage to be done. First gear is so short you often use second gear to set off.
General comments: This is a great car, if like me you have a large family this car is more than adequate to cope with them all and all they come with. If it wasn't for the BMW X5 i might have been restricted to a 'AARGH' people carrier. The only other choices I found were the Land Rover Discovery with its bad road handling or the VW Tourag with its appalling reliability.

It drives like a 5 Series and each has lots of kit, but it's ferociously expensive to own.
