Good Points: What a joy this car is! Smooth, easy on the body for long rides and quiet - it costs a pretty quid but everything they promised is there and more.
Bad Points: I cannot fully get the hang of the center I-button which controls most of the instrument panel display. It is distracting while driving. There are alternative buttons on the steering wheel, but only for limited features.
General comments: I was taken aback by the appearance of the BMW 7 Series, the sturdy quality of the hardware and reliability.

The BMW 7 Series 745i (E65) is potentially an outstandig car, but this executive car has been over-engineered. It adds complexity when simplicity would have worked better. Poor reliability and technicians only capable of exchanging units have not helped. Overall a real disappointment compounded by 50% depreciation in 18 months.
