Good Points: Excellent closing to the series. Julian retains his sparkling charisma, and tenderness towards Jenny. Jenny has become emotionally stronger, and seems to be somewhat hardened towards Julian's affections. It is somewhat odd though the way she treats Julian, but she is overall stronger. Writing style stayed the same, though the storyline became much more grim as the book went on. History of Jenny's grandfather was excellently done. Gruesome, but well done.

Bad Points: Tom for starters had overall issues, and became much weaker from the previous books. Julian's ancestors seemed to inhuman. Granted, not human, but were portrayed to be mechanic, and that seemed totally out of place. The runes, as always were present, but seemed to mystical to fit in with the ending.

General comments: Lisa Jane Smith,L. J. Smith, The Kill (Forbidden Game 3): The Kill (Forbidden Game): Julian's history was finally revealed, and was in a way that pleased the reader and generated sympathy. The way Jenny responded to this confession was also played out perfectly. Organisation of plot was carried through excellently, and characters retained personalities throughout.
