I thought Erik Christian Haugaard's The Samurai's Tale was a good book! It was touching and sweet in some parts, as well! Only problem: the end was a cliffhanger! I thought there should have been another chapter or a continuation of the last chapter.

I thouroughly enjoyed The Samurai's Tale. The ending seemed a little rushed to me but overall, the book is a treasure to me. It touched my heart many times, and sometimes brought a tear to my eyes. It was beautifully written which is something I have never experienced in my life. It was a mature book, yet could be understood by any teenager. I loved reading it, and for sure, I will love reading it over and over again.

I thouroughly enjoyed the book. It was a simply story that touched my heart. Though sometimes I would get the characters confused, many still retained their own individual personality that gave them their own identity and place in my mind. There were many times when the book touched my heart, and even occasionally made tears fall from my eyes. It is quite a simple story but none the less original and wonderful. This book was beautifully written which is something that I have never experienced be ...

Erik Christian Haugaard, The Samurai's Tale - By far this is my most favourite book of all time, I would stay up all night reading it. It is about a boy, a samurai's son named Murakami, at the age of 4 he lost not only his father but his mother and two older brothers as well. He grows up meeting different people and on his way his life changes as he gets closer to his life dream to become of the samurai. I would reccomend this book for everyone except of you who don't like the history of Japan ...
