Good Points: good quality reasonably easy to set up as long as you follow the instructions to the letter and make some of your own up as you go along.

Bad Points: A bit over priced for what you get.

General comments: Even though this Logitech QuickCam can be a bit fiddly to set up it is a very good buy as long as you know a little bit about what you are doing initially it was with windows xp i used it and then when i moved on to beta testing Windows 7 i was disappointed to find it does not work with win 7 as it is not supported.

Works without any problems and troubles for 8 years on my PC. Quality of the picture is good. Setup (under Win XP) is not required as it is done automatically.
    1. Technically excellent peace of electronics. Reliable and good performing.
    2. Bad holder. Youll need to buy a tripod.
Well recommend Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000.

Bought the Pro 3000 to use on instant messaging. The camera was easy to set up, I followed the instructions and found no faults there.

The software is extensive and provideds options such as movies/pictures, motion dectection, broadcast live and the ability to send continuous feed to a web page.

The image quality is good. It's the only camera I've had so don't take my answer too seriously. You can foucs the camera using the lens. It can take pictures/video of up to 640x480 resolution ...

The Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 Web Cam is a very frustrating device for two reasons
    1) unplug and plug to make it work
    2) no support from logitech

This camera locks up when there is too much movement, if the resolution is too high, and after one or two pictures have been snapped.
