    Bad Points:


    General comments: Very informative on all aspects that a visitor should know while travelling through India. However, there is one important issue that is missing from this book.
    Like 911 service in the USA, there is an emergency response service that is available in many of the states in India. This service is available by dialing a tolls free number 108 from both land line telephones, mobile or WLL telephones. 108 Services are presently available in the Indian States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Assam. Very soon these services would be available in Madhya Pradesh, Meghalay, Maharashtra and Punjab.
    For all medical emergencies, the service providers despatch a fully kitted up ambulance with trained staff and coordinate help for Police or Fire related emergencies. The ambulances fielded by this organisation are air conditioned and carry medicines and equipment to handle every possible emergency. Detaills of the organisation providing the service is available on their web page www.emri.in. The service is free of any charges and can be sought 24/7 by dialing 108. Very informative on all aspects that a visitor should know while travelling through India.
