I recently received a Crosman 1008B from a friend and i think it is a great gun for shooting closish range items. Yes the gas leaks quite a lot and power decreases quite rapidly but its an all round great pistol and id recommend it to any1. The price is very decent also. Thanks to Crosman for even Inventing this Lil' Beauty.

Cheap and not very good in my opinion! Very easy to leak gas, anyone know what kind of tool can open the valve chamber? How about a big screw-driver? Where can I buy the tool? Please give me the name of tool?

A decent gun but needs more power, it also needs clip for faster reload. The Crosman 1008B is a straight shot though.

I have had fun with the Crosman 1008B gun right from the start. I would recommend it to anyone. But, as a starter gun, there are guns out there that are better for the money, for the power and for shots to co2.

But overall, I am happy with this gun :)

The Crosman 1008B is quite pleasing to the eye, nice weight and feel, very low powered, ok for a novice. Personally I would prefer to use a single shot traditional air pistol, more power and reliability

What can I say about the Crosman 1008B CO2 pistol? It is very good value for money, and an excellent pistol to introduce you into the CO2 range of pistols. I have only used brake barrels before, but within 5 minutes I was loaded and using the 1008B, it is that easy to use.
The only negative side I have found is it misfires many times on DA, even when going slowly.
Also, I find after about 40 shots it really loses it's power.
As I say though, it is a good introduction to the CO2 range of pisto ...

The Crosman 1008B is my first CO2 Pistol and I took it out today and I am not dissapointed. With the first cartridge I got 83 shots, 40 were full power but the rest started to drop after a while. With the second cartridge I got 96! I dont know why.

Anyway I got it for £52 including 5 crosman co2 powerlets and 500 RWS flatheads which seems to be very unpopular with bean cans. This is the remanufactured model, its ABS but it doesn't bring its performance down in anyway. Do eagle powerlets ...

I bought the crosman 1008b a year ago at a sports center for $45.I have found that the gun is more accurate in the summer than the winter. I sometimes go to the river and shoot the water to see how far the bullet would go and I was very impressed. Whilst doing this I accidentally killed a duck lol. This is the best air pistol for its price!

Well, I started to write this review right after returning my 1008 to Crosman for replacement - after one week! The loading mechanism jammed & wouldn't let me load a clip (there wasn't a clip loaded when it jammed). I was going to say that I hated it & you shouldn't buy one...

It's been gone a week or so & you know what? I miss it! I realized that, other than it jamming on me & having to replace it, it really is a pretty cool pistol. It's fps is right up there with Co2 pistols four times ...

The Crosman 1008B is a GREAT GUN. I just bought mine from Walmart for 45 bucks! it came with the gun, a red dot sight, 250 pellets, and safty glasses. First I tried it without the sight... eh... then with the red dot sight... WOOW this thing rules! The first 4 clips are great for target shooting from far away. The next two clips are good from about 20 yards and the last two that I can jet out of mine are good for plinking. The only bad thing I can think of is the trigger is a little weird when y ...

I am not a newbie at air pistols. I have owned 16. 10 pistols and 6 rifles. So I feel I know what im talking about when comparing these guns.

    RASON:
This is one of one of the best overall guns out there. It is inexpensive ($45) and is VERY powerful. It is more powerful and more accruate than most $100+ dollar guns.

    GETTING JAMMED:
people say it gets jammed. Well, that is because they are using POOR quality pellets or pellets are are not brand CROSMAN. If you use any other type of pellet ...

I didn't actually buy this Crosman 1008B gun my friend gave his to me because he hated it. The first 10 shots are always 400-420 fps, which is good for a pistol. But after that, the velocity drops dramaticaly and so does the accuracy. I would not recomend this gun. But, crosmans other guns are pretty good.

If you want a high-quality CO2 pistol, from a well known dealer throughout the world, the Crosman 1008B is the one for you. It is very inexpensive, so it wont cost you a limb. I've had mine for nearly 2 years now, and I have and still use it every weekend, and it never has caused me any problems. I recommend this pistol to anyone who is interested.

I bought this gun last week and i shot it a few hundred times. After you ajust the sight perfectly it is extremly accurate. It does not take long but it has to be perfect. i shoot small animals with it and it is fun to aim at a bird and unload on it. it is powerful enough to go right through a birds head, and it is a great buy for the mony. i baught mine for 45$
i recomend this to anyone who likes to hunt small animals.

When i first bought this gun, i had alot of fun with it. It was accurate and fast to relode. The only problems i had with it where the pellets getting jamed in it, the trigger being a little hard to pull, and it short co2 life, the laser scope is nice though, if you have money for lots of batteries.

The crosman 1008B air pistol is an excellent buy. It works in double action with a single trigger pull both cocking the hammer and releasing it. The 1008B in single action by manually cocking the hammer back with your thumb and releasing it by pulling the trigger.

The only other pistol I have to reference the 1008B against is the Crosman 2210SB. The 1008B is more fun to shoot, more pleasing to the eye, more accurate, but less powerful.

The Crosman 1008B ia a very fun pistol to hit tin cans with, or trying to hunt by point-shooting and unleashing your whole clip! Unfortunately the gun is a big spender on co2, you can see the wasted gas fly out where the rotary clip and barrel, as well as the barrel to co2 (power unit?!)meet. Also, the trigger pull leaves alot to be desired, as it's long pull is what cocks the hammer back in semi-auto mode. Also, accuracy is pretty pathetic, not only because of the short barrel, but also because ...

This is probably the best gun that money can buy!!!!!! It was rated a 10 in "The Safest Pellet Guns On The Market" and only one other gun was a 10 (Walther CP99) but since the Walther sells for $137.50 and the Crosman is only $65.00 for the gun only! What a deal!!!! I would recommend this gun to anybody that has money for it!!! I bought in a pack that had some CO2 and like 3 or 4 ammo revolvers for just $80.00!!!! The best part of the gun is it's very accurate, dependable, and very durable!!! ...

The Crosman 1008B is a great gun when used with the red dot sight. Make sure you turn it off when not shooting because the battery life is terrible.
Once you get used to it, then it unleashes the bad boy in itself.
