Bad Points: Stopped supporting all but webferret in the power pack costing $49.95.
General comments: Ferretsoft sold a Powerpack that included email ferret, info ferret, phone ferret, news ferret, irc ferret. These programs no longer work and they did not offer refund for unsupported, useless programs. Makes you wonder whether or not they'll drop webferret pro and run with the cash.
I've found some connection from their website to McAffee and I have no idea if they have purchased ferretsoft. I do know that I bought Net Detective from one company which was absorbed by McAffee and found that they chose to do little to support that $50 program. I am not pleased at all.

I have used it for about 4 years for web searches. An alternative to Webferret is Copernic 2000 which is just as good.- Read MrCompletely's review (54 words)
