I watched the The Lord of the Rings films before reading the books.
The books are so more detailed and the films miss out on so much of the book, LOTR film fans will be in for a treat. The word phenonenon is an understement.

If you loved the movies, buy the books. They contain so much more than the movies could ever show. If they had included the books in their entirety in the movies, they would have been nearly twices as long!

The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King by J.R.R Tolkien gives you some things that a movie never can... A deeper insight to the characters, better story lines and a feeling that you are one of the people who bothered to read the book instead of wait for the next movie to come out.

This book truly is a masterpiece of Tolkien's work.

It is a must buy for any person who liked the films as you get an in depth view to the background of the characters .
