Good Points: Where do I start? It's huge, exciting, spans decades, and has a huge cast.
Bad Points: It is big, and therefore hard to pick up. That really is about it.
General comments: If you love fantasy and haven't read A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin, then stop reading this, and go out and buy a copy. It is simply the best fantasy epic I have ever read. One of the things I love about it, is that it doesn't focus on one character. When you think you have it nailed as to who is the main character and so is safe, he kills them off. No one is totally good, and no one is totally bad. No one is safe in this story, it's simply brilliant.
