me and my partner have just returned from here after reading sum reviews we werent sure but the hotel is clean and friendly with good entertainment.it was well worth the money the only downfall was it werent in the heart of everything but there is a free bus and only a 15 minute walk from town centre.i would return to this hotel. My husband myself and our 11 year old grandaughter stayed at Paradise Island , Playa Blanca the last 2 weeks in October 2010, we had a brilliant time. The pool was lovely , the dining room was very nice and clean the food was good for a 3 star, (we have stayed in worse 5 star) the staff where very nice and helpful, to be quite honest I could not falt it for a 3 star, if people want 5 star accomodation they should stay in 5 star, you get what you pay for and as far as this hotel you got more... I would like to remind people that this is a 3 star hotel - I think people are looking for 5 star quality! I have just returned August 2010 and i can say firstly to the lady with the sun cream problem - it was your choice to buy the product you were not forced by the hotel ! Secondly I never seen coachroaches in the resteraunt and it looks like over exageration that they flew on husbands knee!
Apartments were alright basic - end of day you only need for sleeping in. The food was fine good...

The entertainment team where very friendly there's always some sort of activity to do I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone with a family also it's right by the beach, it's in a lovely area and
there's 4 pools so there's a pool for everyone.

Read alot of reviews before booking some bad some reasonable but our fears were founded.Apartments large clean but dated but cant remember the last time we went AI and had to pay for TV IRON AIR CON.Not even a kettle. H10 Paradise Island - The dining area was full of cockroaches which i didnt rate as one landed on my husband whilst eating our lunch.There wasnt much choice of childrens meals,it was either pasta,or chips with a very rare option of chicken nuggets and pizza!! Adults meals was ok on the first week but going into the second week we were fed of eating the same food!!! H10 Paradise Island was clean and rooms were spacious, staff at reception , in the resturant and in the bars were friendly but didnt understand much english. kids disco and club was great and the staff doing the club were fantastic with the children too . entertainment was alright but not alot of variety for two weeks we saw most of the shows the first week of our hoilday. pool area was clean and lots of beds to use although the pols were cold and not that invititng to go in although the... If you go to the Playa Blanca hotel , take plenty of extra holiday money to eat and drink out, we spent over '500 more than we needed to due to the food not being suitable for us. Food was not to our taste, No beef or steak was offered at any point during our 7 night stay. Pork was cooked fresh on the griddle 1 night but then was covered in salt so all it tasted of was salt. This Playa Blanca Hotel, Paradise Island seemed to be run for the convenience of the staff rather than the comfort of the guests. Rooms were ready when they decided rather than when guests were arriving. The restaurant service was poor where food was put out in the buffet far too early so it was cool or cold by the time guests were eating. Lovely Animation team, they were great really funny and friendly. Most nights was brilliant entertainment. Friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and were well designed. Wide range of activities for all ages day and night. Attracts a friendly crowd of people. Some guests pushing in the queues and were just overall really rude. Food was average, but edible. The children enjoyed it more than the adults! and the animation team worked very hard during the day to entertain those who wanted to participate. As previous reviews have mentioned you have to pay extra for facilities that appear to be included in the all inclusive price such as, beach towels safety deposit box, mattresses for the sunbed. We had a fantastic time, we arrived on 29th July 2008 and stayed for a week. Would definitely return. I wouldn't say this holiday was right for couples, honeymooners etc, only becuase its full of families, lots of children. Although if you don't mind this then it shouldn't be a problem.
On the whole a great time was had by all of us and we were only sorry we hadn't booked for a fortnight.

Was at Paradise island from 27th June for 2 weeks with my husband and 15 year old daughter. A few problems with room as it was next to sewage area and in the heat it was very smelly. Reported to hotel staff who immediately moved us to another apt and gave us a bottle of wine and basket of fruit.
Food was excellent and even my daughter was satisfied (most of the time). Met some lovely people, entertainment ok, staff work very hard. Lots of Germans and Dutch who need to learn some manners!!

I've just come back from H10 Paradise Islands at Playa Blanca. I went on the 10th July 2008 to the 17th July 2008 with my boyfriend we both enjoyed it and the people there are so friendly. The rooms are very clean and the cleaners are very polite. The pool was always cleaned just a bit to cold haha. Just got back from Paradise Island on the 10th April 07 after a week, I can honestly say I have had the best holiday ever, my daughter enjoyed it, I met the most amazing people and the Spanish are so kind and friendly with kids, I felt safe with my 9 year old running around the complex, the rooms were clean and spacious, the food was okay (have had worse) it was just such a chilled out holiday and the weather was glorious. The canopies were not above the restaurant making it very hot.
There was no green grass on the putting green to play golf.
The choice of children's food was only 3 choices each meal time, 2 of which were potatoes.
For the amount of people staying there, I'm not sure there was not enough space to eat.
Paradise Island I don't think so.

just back from here, 4 out of the 14 days I did not have a decent full meal. Time you started catering for the British paying guest as well as you do for the Spanish and Germans.

Isn't it time they updated their video.
The canopies are no longer above the restaurant, making it very hot.

It was quite evident that the hotel was not very well managed.
It was way understaffed for the amount of guests, and could not cope.
I understand that this hotel used to be a H10 hotel, and was very good.
It is now owned by the HL group.
We did ask our representative to move us, but, low and behold they did not have any available spaces at an equivalent hotel, they could only upgrade us which would have meant paying another £250 each. As there were people in the party that could not afford...

You must have been there when we were - not enough sun beds either Have been to many inclusives but this was disgusting and weren't some people there rude and always pushing! Did you also notice they advertised the restaurant outside. How stupid is that, there was not enough room for the residents already staying.

We had a nice break, and it was good value for what we paid. H10 Paradise Island is a little too far away from Playa Blanca. We went for a couple of walks along the front, and it is lovely, but it takes quite a while to walk. The free bus to the Playa Dorada beach is good, and it is well worth going, as the beach is lovely.
We would recommend this hotel to families, but not to couples our age (49 & 47).

I was worried about staying at the H10 Paradise Island hotel in Lanzarote because of some of the terrible reviews I had read on review sites. However, I was very pleasantly surprised.
We are a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 5 years. The check-in was faultless, and we were issued with a wristband to confirm our All inclusive status. We paid for air conditioning in our apartment, which was 4 Euros a day (well worth it). The 1 bedroom apartment was probably about 8 years old...

We went to H10 Paradise Island for new year after seeing many reports I was very impressed by the hotel, excellent apartment with a large balcony overlooking the pool. Good size sitting area clean bathroom and bedroom cleaned 6 days out of 7.
There was a bus to the town centre (free) 6 times a day.
Food a good choice also a Chinese restaurant on site and a supermarket.
I Would go again.

We had been on net we were worried about H10 Paradise Island. First all inclusive had no reason to worry this is an excellent place to stay the food was not repetitive different choices all the time. Staff and entertainment staff were excellent. The pool was cleaned every day. We met two lovely people who we are keeping in contact with. This place is ideal for people with children as the entertainment was good for both kids and adults.

We travelled in June/July 2003 4 adults and 4 children (Children ranging from 15 months to 9 years old).
We all enjoyed the holiday very much and would go back again.
The entertainment team are excellent and the activities were varied.
They have kids clubs with Daisy and all the children enjoyed them.
There is a Daisy Disco in the evening with children's entertainment (Note this bar only serves soft drinks and glasses and smoking is not permitted into this room).

So true about the lack of bar staff and the queuing at the bars. Also the bar closes at 11pm, then you have to pay (if they decide to stay open that is).
