It is a step away from the norm in the ordering of the story... if you are familiar with the series, the books usually have a pattern, but this one is different. Also, having the involvement of normal humans a lot more than some of the others, was an aspect that I enjoyed. Out of the series, this book is in my top 2 or 3 favorites.
