An easy to use website with all the great bike brands cheaper than the big players, Evans, wiggle etc. We got my sons first bike (ridgeback MX16) on this site. Ordered on a Sunday evening, paid with PayPal and it arrived extremely well packaged on the Wednesday morning. All I needed to do was straighten out the handlebars and put on the pedals with the supplied spanner. Excellent service, I will definitely be using them n the future. Working a late shift, riding in when my summer bike decided to throw the rear out of true over the terrible potholed roads. Limped to Cycle Gear Halifax with the rim rubbing even with a slackened caliper in the expectation of being told leave it with us and collect in a few days. Went into new shop, with my rim that had been very badly trued from another shop and showed the person behind the counter. The wheel looked pretty foobared too me and it needed all new nipples fitting. But he said he would have it done in 4 hours and to come and collect it. WAS NOT expecting that. Rang other shops in the area, but with no look as they all said at least 3 days. Dealt with very professionally. Completed work to a high standard and cheap enough. What more could you ask for... Bike came well wrapped and in perfect condition, and was easy to finish set up even for a novice like me. Staff gave me good advice prior to service, and when I rang to inform me a small part was missing they were as good as their word and sent it first class arriving with me next morning. I cant fault them - cheapest price, Bike came as promised 99% complete, And next day delivery as it was in stock. After initially using a balance bike I purchased a cheap steel bike to teach my lad to ride and he just couldn't get the hang of it, with the weight and large brakes etc - 10 min's on the the Ridgeback and he was cycling around on his own unaided it gave him that much confidence. Noticed the Ridgeback Platinum at a great price and with very cheap finance.I enquired about frame size and got an immediate reply from Nath. Placed the order first thing Monday and was amazed to get the bike 0900am Wednesday. Order tracking was very informative and was regularly updated. The bike was well packaged in is superb. Have you been in touch with ourselves as this shouldn't have happened and you should have had an explanation if you haven't already.
Also all damage should be reported and if this is the case you should have been compensated accordingly also the postage should have been corrected accordingly as we aim to deliver within 5 working days.

I was planning on buying a Genesis Alfine Day One from another well known store, but then I spotted the fantastic price that Cycle Gear were selling it for on Google. Despite the fact that they were busy (very busy!) moving to their new store, they let me in via the back door, gave us a cuppa, did a great mechanical set up on the bike and took time to discuss the purchase in a way that puts many other stores (big and small) to shame. After deciding what bike to buy, a quick search showed these to be the best price, with the advantage for me of providing low cost finance as well. Easy to place order; easy to sort finance online. Bike ordered on Thursday for Saturday delivery. The shop called Friday morning to say there was a minor issue with stock - they could get it to the shop on Monday for Tuesday delivery. Superb value for money, a great bike and the charges for next day delivery are very reasonable. I ordered late on Saturday evening, paid for 24hr delivery (knowing that the clock would start first thing on Monday) and the bike arrived first thing on Tuesday. The bike box was absolutely HUGE (way bigger than a normal bike box). But that's because everything is attached and (as far as I can tell at this stage) ready to go. Love the retro style, there was a mix up in the original supply in that I was sent the 2013 model in white (hence the slight blemish on the delivery grade) was offered to keep the 2013 model if so desired, but decided to stop with my first choice the blue 2012 model, and pleased I did, so much classier looking and the frame is a higher spec' at 725 oppossed to the 530 Reynolds tubing now used on the 2013 model. I ve just bought a Genesis Equilibrium 10 with Tiagra 10 speed compact chainset and gears from ukbikesdepot.com. The bicycle wasn't well set up, the front derailleur wouldn't change up to top gear and banged off the crank and the rear derailleur was out of adjustment and skipped gears. The brakes are set too tight to the rims and had to also be adjusted by another local cycle shop. ukbikesdepot.com delivered the narrow width fitting instead of the wide width fitting of Shimano M088 shoes...
