The rental with Rental Car Group was easy, as always. The only thing we wish this site would allow us to do is know the cost of the extras at the inital search stage. Booking was made from my Galaxy Tab the night before pick-up, and confirmation was prompt, pricing probably somewhat below the normal charges directly from local car hire companies (according to the local Helle Hollis attendant). When I suddenly realized that the date I needed the car was upon me, I went to the web site I normally use to reserve a car and found that they would not accept reservations with less than 48 hours notice. The little village I live in has ONE rental company/ By luck I found the rentalcargroup web site and made the reservation without problem. Good and quick communication after reservation. just a small problem my city was erroneously reported as Munich to hire company form (may be a problem on hire company). Next time I would like to pay with American Express. In the reservation phase it was not so clear that by returning the car X days + 1 hour the price will be for one day more. (read more)

It is a very good way to find a rental car. You have a great choice of cars of different categories. I like it. What is a bit difficult is to compare the details of the rental conditions. It would be great if one could immediately see and be able to compare in a unified way the important little details like mileage limitations, CDW excess, price for complete cover and damage excess reduction, theft waiver excess and third party liability protection. I love the service because of the different agencies it checks and automatically provides me with information. Though I've checked with individual providers it lists, they were never able to match the prices provided by Rental Car Group. RCG provided me great service even on a less than 24hr booking and great prices when I book long term. Booking the car was seamless although the confirmation email was recognized by GMail as spam (what is rare). I still find the information about the insurance excess confusing as it is rather high at 1200 € and the options to reduce it are rather expensive (10 - 20 Euro a day) , but at the same time a separate insurance (Allianz) is offered that is supposed to cover the excess up to 3000 € and costs only 30 € (for 5 days in our case). I am glad I did not have to use it though. (read more)

I really liked the fact someone met me at the airport and guided me through the contract and then directly to the car. The vehicle was exactly what was requested and was clean inside and out. However, only delivered with a 1/4 tank of gas. Drop off was also very easy and someone from the company met us at the airport to turn-in the vehicle. No hidden fees were applied.
