So I bought tickets to go and see The Monkees with my dad, and when I bought them I thought to myself that because they're in their late 60's they wont be any good, they proved me wrong! The Monkees are one of the best live acts I have ever seen in my 14 years of living. Unfortunately Michael Nesmith wasn't there to join them on this tour, but that didnt stop Davy, Micky and Peter from putting on the best most exciting show that they could think of. They opened with their hit classic I'm A Believer, this made the crowd go wild, they then went into a 40 song setlist (having an interval after 20 songs). They played all their classic hits including Mary, Mary, (I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone, Last Train To Clarksville and Closing with Daydream Believer. But that wasn't the end for The Monkees, they came back for an encore performing two more songs. They performed Pleasant Valley Sunday, and finally, closing the show by once again performing I'm A Believer. I think that this concert was deffinately worth the money. I would certainly recommend this artist to a friend.
