The car provided was first class and the staff were friendly and informative. Picking up our car at the airport was as good as it gets. very little waiting time, details clearly explained in a very friendly manner. Lost my wallet before arriving at the rental office, but the staff were so helpful in getting a replacement license issued from the DVLA in the UK. We had to extend by a couple of days but this was sorted with the minimum of fuss. Car was great to drive, and very clean, and the returns process was very smooth. We used drivalia about a year ago and we are now regular customers. They are very good on price and service is also very good. The staff are very helpful and the service is very smooth. Facilities are very good at the drop off / collection area via a very short shuttle bus trip, which is always punctual. There are no hidden extras and I would recommend taking the premium insurance as I did lose a car key at a remote location last year. This was not a problem and a replacement was driven out... Booked with this company via a broker and couldn't have received a better service. The car was perfect and very economical. Staff were very friendly and helpful. “Good fuel policy, good service”

Drivalia offer a full full fuel policy which works great for someone like me who does not intend on doing much driving. This means I receive the car with a full tank and have to bring it back full. I only pay for the fuel I use. That is the main reason I use Drivalia. However they are good on price and offer a great service. I will always use them. (read more)

We were picked up by a very helpful driver who pointed out all the key places on the quick journey to help us to find our way out of the airport and where to bring the car back to. Apart of the somewhat hidden place at the busstation, the shuttle was OK. Easy to find back the premises on return. The car was new, clean and of a larger size than one usually will get at that price! And prices at Drivalia are really very competing. The staff was very kind, helpful and good-humoured, which is also important when on holiday. The rapid shuttle service back to the airport, finally, was fast and easy: You wan't miss your plane! Everything was very good and I am satisfied but I would like the collection process to be made faster which should be possible if you enter all relevant data as drivers licence, passport, number of drivers and if you want any extra insurance at the booking process. When you get to the desk you just sign a paper and get the key. I've rented very many cars in my life. This was by far the fastest transport from airport and paper handling that I ever experienced. No waiting time what so ever. Alicante airport might be better suited for this than others and it might not be high-season. But the experience was none the less excellent. The car was in perfect condition and higher category than I payed for. Delivering the car back went fluently and I was driven to airport immediately. There's nothing to complain about at all... My first time rental at Drivalia. Very difficult to find the shuttle bus. Asked several people, bus drivers and staff at the airport. Would very much liked to have the direction to the shuttle bus. But when we first find it, everything was forgotten, the driver was very service minded and the same person did all the paperworks at the desk. “Never been simpler!”

The one thing that remains on my mind was the lenght of queues in the terminal for all the major car rental companies. We walked out to the Mini bus, on our own, got on, on our own and got to the parking area for Drivalia within a few minutes. Sorted the admin, added tyre insurance that was 30euros, but knowing where we were going, into rural areas, best thing! One couple ahead of us, just getting into their vehicle we got into ours and off we went. Ten minutes and the airport was behind us.... (read more)

I was sceptical that the off-airport location would be a problem, having booked through a UK broker and found out after booking that I would have to take a bus to collect the car. The overall experience was excellent; I reckon actually quicker than queuing for a car in the airport. The bus was waiting for us, the car was ready, and documentation took 3 minutes. The Kia Picante was horrid, but that was my fault - I chose it! I would choose something better next time. (read more)

All areas of the hiring were excellent. The condition and spec of car was better than others we have had from other companies. The car rental was off site but it was significantly quicker than the queues at Alicante airport when I have booked cars previously. Shuttle was quick to and from the airport in the region of 5 minutes. Staff were extremely helpful. I would definitely choose Drivalia next time, what a fantastic service! The shuttle bus was waiting for us and no queues or waiting when we arrived at the rental office. The staff were all pleasant, efficient and extremely helpful. The off airport service is definitely not a disadvantage to using rental companies situated at the airport and I would actually say it was a much faster process than I have had on previous occasions with other companies. Pleasant , attentive helpful staff, a spotless vehicle , advice and a warmth of welcome I hadnt experienced for some time , all of which came as a surprise.
